Application tools
General information
White, washable paint for exterior surfaces, weather resistant, resistant to solar radiation, good washability, easy workability and good covering power. It has an excellent adhesion to the substrate, forming a continuous, uniform, elastic film, resistant to ageing, to temperature variations between -20°C and +70°C, with low permeability to liquid water and permeable to water vapour.
It is used for the decorative and protective finishing of exterior walls and, if necessary, interior walls of all mineral-based surfaces (lime-cement, cement-lime, cement-lime plaster, plaster, concrete, common bricks, BCA, cement-bonded concrete, gypsum plaster, plasterboard, plasterboard) of new or old resistant buildings. It is recommended for economical paint-finished or economical decorative plaster-finished thermosystems requiring a colour refresh.
How to use
The surface to which it is to be applied must be solid, dry, clean, free from dust, grease, salts, rust, old degraded paints or other impurities that may prevent adhesion.
- Degraded surfaces (showing cracks, cracks, holes, etc.) are repaired:
- Cracks - with KRAFT Repair. After drying, the area is sanded, sanded and primed with KRAFT Wall Primer in the appropriate dilution or KRAFT Comfort Primer.
- Cracks - repair with filler putty. After drying, sand the area and sand it dry. Finish with KRAFT Repair, sand again, then apply KRAFT Wall Primer in the appropriate dilution or KRAFT Comfort Primer.
- Previously painted, undeteriorated surfaces (load-bearing surfaces, without exfoliation or blistering) can be repainted without prior priming.
- New surfaces - prime with KRAFT Wall Primer. New concrete, plaster or cement surfaces should be primed and painted a minimum of 30 days after installation.
- Surfaces with mould spots: completely remove the mould layer and treat the surface with anti-mold solution. After 24 hours, clean with a clean brush and prime with appropriately diluted KRAFT Wall Primer or KRAFT Comfort Primer.
- Stained or smoke-stained surfaces should first be primed with KRAFT Stain Blocker Aqua (water-based) or KRAFT Stain Blocker Solvent-based; after 24 hours, the paint can be applied.
For effective priming, test the surface absorption on a small area. The applied primer must not form a glossy film after drying.
Application instructions
- White paint application: Apply 2 coats of KRAFT Comfort exterior silicone sealant to the suitably prepared surface.
- Application coloured paint: 2 coats of undiluted coloured paint after correct priming.
Clean the tools immediately after use with soap and warm water.
Close the container tightly to keep it in good condition for later use and store it before and after use in a cool place away from direct sunlight or frost.
