Product description
Gypsum plasterboard, type A, PRO edge (SR EN 520 + A1:2010), gypsum plaster core and grey cardboard sheathing, heavy combustible (reaction to fire class A2-s1,d0). Contributes to improved indoor air quality: the additivised core captures, retains and decomposes formaldehyde, a harmful substance in indoor air.

Applications
The additivised core captures, traps and breaks down formaldehyde in indoor air. The board is active for up to 50 years, for the lifetime of the building.Immediate effectiveness, also tested with various types of finishes and decorations: paper or fibreglass wallpaper, mineral paint, acrylic paint. It reduces the level of formaldehyde in indoor air by up to 70%, when using 1 square metre of board per cubic metre of indoor volume. This ratio corresponds roughly to the wall and ceiling cladding of a room, taking a typical apartment living room or a child's bedroom, wall and ceiling area 52 square metres. The effectiveness has been carefully analysed and demonstrated by the independent ECO Institute in Cologne and the EUROFINS Laboratory Group in Denmark in accordance with ISO 16000 - 23. The product has received the "Approved" stamp from the Institute for Building Biology (IBB) in Rosenheim, which emphasises its ability to contribute to healthy living, while playing an active role in environmental protection.
